Hanoi Backpackers Hostel & Rooftop Bar

Had a blast at Hanoi Backpackers! The rooftop bar rocks for socializing, and the activities keep things lively. Just wish the beds had top sheets and restrooms offered more privacy. A good spot for young travelers looking to party!

We really enjoyed delicious breakfasts and astonishing views!

The rooms were functional and modern with nice beds, good prices. The staff were especially helpful and affable all the time. The location was the best - ease of access to a majestic church.

Overall it was great-sized on the top floors. The location was best possible and convenient, within walking distance of Hoan Kiem Lake.

I took the Beautiful Double Room with City View for 6 nights and it felt more like a hotel than a hostel. The staff were friendly and helped me book tours. They were flexible with my stay. I'd totally recommend this place and will definitely come back 😊

perfect spot for exploring iconic landmarks and parks

With hoan kiem lake just 500 meters away, it was a short walk to some of the most beautiful park views in the city.

the breakfast included fresh omelet and pho, very delicious. eevnings can be noisy from the rooftop bar.

The ambiance fosters a lively social scene, especially in the evenings. The rooftop bar elevates the experience, offering a spot to unwind with a view.

Bathrooms in the dormitory lack ventilation, resulting in unpleasant odors and humidity that pervade the sleeping quarters. Noise levels fluctuate considerably, especially in mixed dorms, and the condition of some facilities seemed to degrade . Moving rooms frequently due to maintenance issues was frustrating, especially when quality varied dramatically-one moldy stay and an AC failure in another were unwelcome surprises.

Backpackers hostel & rooftop bar has an amazing location right beside the main bars, perfect for a solo traveler like me. The bar staff were friendly. Even as a newcomer to hostels, I could sense a great vibe all around.

I stayed in a Bed in 8-Bed Mixed Dormitory Room and it was pretty comfy! The beds have curtains for privacy, a nice touch. The room was clean and surprisingly cool, perfect for a good night's sleep. The vibe in the hostel is lively, especially with the rooftop bar nearby. Just wish the bathrooms had better ventilation, as they could get a bit stuffy at times.

The staff here are very friendly and provide wake-up calls and complimentary ironing service, alongside excellent service and delicious food.

The bunk bed in the dorm room is really comfy and comes with useful stuff like a safe, a mini fridge, and an iron with an ironing board. the private bathroom here is top-notch. the staff are super friendly and helpful all around! 👍

We really enjoyed spending 1 night here. the breakfast was large with many options to choose from and cooked to order items. the location was incredible, just off the tourist attraction, shops, restaurants, Beer Street, and Halong Bay. Beer Street was a stone's throw away.
